Four Hand Massage

This will take your massage experience to a new level. The massage work is done by two massage therapists working in tandem, moving up and down the body, using all four of their hands with the same pressure, rhythm, and movement. With this four hand massage you enter another world as the movements by the therapists are perfectly synchronized: same pressure, same speed on corresponding spots on the body – also called mirroring (one therapist takes the lead and the other therapist does the same work on the opposite side of your body). This treatment can be done in pairs or in a private setting. You can choose from a classical four hand massage, with hot stones or Vichy shower. Originating in France, the Vichy shower consists of a row of shower heads suspended over a massage table. You lie on the table and are sprayed down from stem to stern, front and back. You will find this treatment is both relaxing and stimulating. We use Coconut Pulp for a soft scouring and high quality aromatic oils.

The benefits of a four hand massage

Just like any other form of massage, the most immediate benefit is the relaxation. A Four Hand massage relaxes you even more because the mind cannot focus on 4 hands massaging you at the same time so it just "checks out" into a meditative state. This relaxation can lead to many other benefits, including less mental stress. Four hand massage also promotes healing—just as other forms of massage do—by increasing blood flow and circulation throughout the body.

Hammam (Turkish Bath)
The Turkish Hammam (also Turkish Bath or Hamam) is the Middle Eastern variant of a steam bath, which can be categorized as a wet relative of the sauna. The Hammam as a method of cleansing the body and relaxation was particularly popular during the Victorian era. The process involves in taking a Turkish bath is similar to that of a sauna, but is more closely related to the bathing practices of the Romans. In our Hammam you will receive a full exfoliation of the body with black soap from Essaouira (Marocco), beauty masks on your hair and face, and light massage to perfect your relaxation.

Bath of Flowers
Scalp, face and hands massage in a bath of flowers perfumed with essential oils, followed by a massage of your back.

Caramel Waxing
Ancestral technique used by the women from the Orient that allows the hair to grow more slowly and discreet.

Manicure and Pedicure
Getting a pedicure and/or manicure at Alisei Spa is a fun indulgence. Over the last hundred years, the nails have become more important for cosmetic reasons and less important for protection. Basic manicuring should be done once a week. Every 4-6 weeks it is a good idea to seek the services of a professional manicurist. Our professional manicurist best knows how to keep your nails looking healthy and beautiful.
